Components of a public law restriction on landownership (PLR)
A PLR comprises a map and clearly comprehensible information in text form.
A public law restriction on landownership generally comprises geodata and the applicable legal provisions. It also contains information about the applicable legal bases, together with additional information and explanations.
Components of public law restriction on landownership
Geodata
With the aid of geodata, the area in which a given restriction (e.g. land use zone) applies is defined.
Legal provisions
The legal provisions contain the ruling on which the restriction is based and which defines the restriction and its effects. This may, for example, take the form of a municipality’s building regulations.
Legal bases
As legal bases, the legislation on which the restriction is based is cited, for example a cantonal spatial planning act.
Additional information
Additional data may, for example, take the form of names and addresses of authorities to be contacted for further information, as well as information regarding planned and current amendments to PLRs.
This means that, in the PLR Cadastre, graphic elements, legal provisions and additional information are combined, presented in a comprehensible manner and made available to the public.
