Objectives & work methods

The main task in the area of cadastral surveying is to collect data relating to plots of land and update the data as necessary. This means it makes a valuable contribution towards the safeguarding of real estate. The results of cadastral surveys are recorded in the plan for the land register. In view of this, only those surveyors who are listed in the official Register of Surveyors are authorised to carry out cadastral surveying in Switzerland.
