The basis plan from cadastral surveying is a product which can be derived automatically from cadastral surveying data. It contains no geometric generalization except for the representation of rock, which originates directly from the National Map 1:25'000.
This plan can be generated in black-and-white or color, digital or on paper. It is primarily intended as a raster background for plans which can be overlayed with additional thematic information.
The basis plan is conceived for three different scales: 1:2'500 for dense urban zones; 1:10'000 for mountainous areas; 1:5'000 for the remaining areas. This plan can only be generated where approved standard numerical data are available.
